Music legend 2Baba has finally replied ex-band mate Blackface’s continuous accusations with a letter from his lawyers asking him to apologise for his defamatory remarks about him and his manager Efe Omorogbe.
In the letter dated May 5th, 2017, obtained exclusively by str8upbangin, it stated that Blackface, real names Ahmedu Augustine, should tender ‘a general unreserved apology for all the statements made and published by him in the past.
The letter also states that he has a week after receiving the letter to apologise or face legal actions. He should also cease to make any further defamatory remarks.

Str8upbangin reached out to 2Baba’s record label and Management Company. A management executive confirmed the development, but refused to make any further comments, and referred us to their lawyers for comments.
Blackface had previously threatened to sue 2Baba and Efe Omorogbe over alleged copyright infringement in a recent interview with Premium Times. That makes it the second time in 2 years he has made such a threat. The first time was in January 2016 via Twitter.
His threats stem from his allegations that 2Baba infringed on his copyright by releasing the song ‘Let Somebody Love You’, and that he hasn’t been properly compensated for his writing contributions to the mega hit ‘African Queen’.
In a recent post on Instagram, he also made other allegations including sabotage of his career.
2Baba has however remained silent on the matter.
We can’t wait to see how this plays out. Will Blackface apologize? Or will he sue as he has been threatening? We will keep you updated.
