“Performing At Bethel Rocks Gospel Festival Was A Big Time Opportunity For Me” Str8upbangin Interviews Emizon

Str8upbangin meets up with Emmanuel Afemikhe Macaulay aka Emizon following the exceptional performance at Bethel Rocks Gospel Festival. Here is an exclusive interview with the gospel rap artist.

In a brief chat, he told Str8upbangin why he makes music, “for me, it’s one of those point where I communicate my mind. Where I say the things I feel, my experiences, what I’ve learnt from different people and nature, and i just want to speak it out and encourage people”.
Encourage people he does with beautiful music and energetic performances as was seen at the recently held Bethel Rocks Gospel Festival which he says “was a big time opportunity and I’m glad I was part of it all”.

The interview rounded up with his take on a controversial topic about whether gospel artists should be paid for performances or not and he had this to say “When it comes to gospel music, a lot of people see it as ministry while some people see it as work. If you see it as work, you should ask for your money”

Emizon has released various singles such as ‘Stand Under The Rain’, ‘He Reigns’, ‘Waka Dey Go’ and the recently released ‘Owo Fun Jesu’ which he performed at Bethel Rocks Music Festival over the weekend.
